Kickoff Meeting (attendance required):
Going forward one adult from each member family will be required to attend a Kickoff Meeting to begin the membership cycle. This ensures that all families (new and old) review updates about our community, membership requirements, and expectations regarding use of the room. The sessions will be identical. Please hold one of the dates on your calendar and plan to leave the little ones at home. If you are unavailable on these dates, please reach out to Membership Coordinator, Alison Leaf (alisonleaf@gmail.com), to inquire about makeup sessions.
The MFR is located on the lower level of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church at 355 Franklin St. Parking is available in the church lot across the street. The MFR has a designated entrance on Franklin St (door furthest to the left when facing the church) which is accessible by keycode. A board member will greet you at the door for the Kickoff Meeting and you will receive the door code for the new year during the kickoff meeting.
During the meeting, we will review membership requirements and expectations regarding use of the room. These are described in detail in our Member Handbook. We will also discuss community events and room rentals, and solicit feedback from renewing members about how to improve our community.
