Membership

The Melrose Family Room has approximately 125 Full Member families. Membership is annual and membership terms begin September 1 and run until August 31st of the following year.

Below is a quick summary of what our membership includes; please refer to the Membership Handbook for full details.

Full Membership Benefits Summary 

• May use the room as many times as they wish per month.
• Full members and their caregivers may bring a guest family to the room.
• Full members may rent the room for three hours ($150) for parties or events.
• Full members are eligible to attend all MFR events and playgroups.
• Full members have volunteer requirements, including maintenance of the room.

Membership Dues starting at $285 / year (plus processing fee) 

We utilize tiered pricing for our memberships to include donations supporting MFR programming. Please choose the price that works best for your family—regardless of which tier you select, everyone enjoys the same membership benefits! If you are able, please select Tier A or Tier B to help support our scholarships, events, and programming.

• Tier A $350 per family per year - Full Membership + 22% donation
• Tier B $300 per family per year - Full Membership + 5% donation 
• Tier C $285 per family per year - Full Membership (this is our standard membership rate and covers the basic MFR operating expenses)

Membership dues are collected annually along with a nominal one-time processing fee.
