MAKE UP SESSION Kickoff Meeting (attendance required): Going forward one adult from each member family will be required to attend a Kickoff Meeting to begin the membership cycle. This ensures that all families (new and old) review updates about our community, membership requirements, and expectations regarding use of the room.   The MFR is located on the lower level of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church at 355 Franklin St. Parking is available in the church lot across the street. The MFR has a designated entrance on Franklin St (door furthest to the left when facing the church) which is accessible by keycode. A board member will greet you at the door for the Kickoff Meeting and you will receive the door code for the new year during the kickoff meeting. During the meeting, we will review membership requirements and expectations regarding use of the room. These are described in detail in our Member Handbook. We will also discuss community events and room rentals, and solicit feedback from renewing members about how to improve our community.

Adult-only time at the MFR! You care for others all day- come do something just for yourself! Join with other MFR parents and caregivers to destress through coloring, doodling and creating easy designs.  This type of art can be a fun and calming way connect with yourself and others. Share a high point and low point from your week if desired, but not necessary! Led By MFR member and cofounder, art therapist and grandmother Rebecca Mooney. Please RSVP so we can plan for supplies!

Join us for a FREE postpartum moms group, specfically for moms with a child under 12 months old. Older kids are, of course, welcome to join and come play. We'll talk about what's going on in your postpartum journey and build community together. You're never late, and you're never underdressed, show up as you are, mom bun and milk-stained shirt and all.
