Attention all Melrose Family Room Members!   Please come to Lincoln Elementary School on Saturday July 16th from 3 to 5pm for FREE ICE CREAM! We have an ice cream truck coming with all kinds of delicious frozen treats to make your tummy happy during a hot Summer day here in beautiful Melrose Massachusetts. One ticket per family. No limit on family members. Bring the whole fam!  Rain or shine, come on out!

Spring has sprung and flowers are in bloom! Come join us at the MFR on May 15th from 2 to 5pm for a fun crafts session and meet & greet with the MFR Board of Directors. We know winter was rough, so let's also make this an opportunity for parents/caretakers to meet new friends and discover new things/happenings at the MFR! Meaghan DelGenio and Victoria Isotti, two theatre education graduate students at Emerson College, are running a three-week workshop on April 9th, April 16th, and April 23rd from 11:00-11:45am. We will be exploring storybooks featuring multicultural characters and themes through storytime, arts and crafts, music, and dance! Ages 18 months to 4 years old please. *This project is being run as part of a class at Emerson College and will be written about. No true names or identities will be written or revealed. We will take photographs of art projects and others with parental permission.
